Lane STG Blending Contest and Seminar

Mike Schaefer with the Scandinavian Tobacco Group that makes Lane and Peter Stokkebye tobaccos, will be in our Austin store Thursday, Sept 24th to do a pipe tobacco blending event and contest with their product. Details are below:

Event is FREE
There will be 12 blends of tobacco available to use in blending
Participants will be provided a blending sheet, a blending container and a judging sheet to keep track of theirs and other’s blend – Please feel free to name your blend
The blending container will be a 16 oz. plastic container – please make enough for others to share and judge. And again name it – makes it more fun.
After you make your blend – you will share with others and all participants will judge your blend
Please bring enough pipes to try other participant’s blends
Judging with be on appearance, aroma and taste. If you only like English or Aromatic we would like you to judge on appearance and aroma.
This event is just for everyone to have some fun – try their hand at blending, talk about tobacco and it is FREE
Winner of event will receive a $75 Gift Certificate to Pipe World to purchase tobacco
